Obverse: Designed by Herbert Wähner, the obverse of the coin provides a magnificent panoramic view of Melk Abbey from the exterior. It captures the imposing facade with its twin towers and dome, overlooking the landscape. The inscription "REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH" (Republic of Austria), the year "2007," and the face value "10 EURO" are also present.
Reverse: Designed by Thomas Pesendorfer, the reverse side offers an interior view of the renowned Marble Hall (Marmorsaal) within Melk Abbey. This intricate design beautifully portrays the grand Baroque architecture, including the ceiling frescoes, columns, and windows that characterize this famous hall. The inscription "STIFT MELK" (Melk Abbey) completes the design.
