This is a silver bullion coin produced by the Austrian Mint.
The obverse of the coin features a pipe organ from the Golden Hall of the Vienna Musikverein, while the reverse depicts instruments such as a cello, violin, harp, Vienna horn, and bassoon.
Beginning with the Vienna Gold Coin, issued by the Austrian Mint in 1989, the series has continued to expand, including the 1 oz. Vienna Silver Coin made of .999 fine silver, and in 2016 and 2018, two sizes of .9995 fine platinum coins were added. All coins in the Philharmonic series pay homage to the Golden Hall of the Vienna Musikverein, featuring the various instruments used by the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra on both the obverse and reverse.
A special 1,000 oz. edition was issued in 2004 to commemorate the Vienna Gold Coin, and a 20 oz. gold coin was issued to mark the series' 20th anniversary. Currently, gold coins are issued annually in 1/25 ounce, 1/10 ounce, 1/4 ounce, 1/2 ounce, and 1 ounce sizes, and a wide lineup is available, including silver and platinum coins.
