This beautiful 2013 large format 25 cent coin celebrates the arrival of Prince George, the first born child of Prince William and Catherine and heir to the throne. Mintage is limited to just 17,500 coins.
The Design:
It features a baby carriage with the names William on one side of the carriage and Catherine on the other side. The coin is also engraved with the word “CANADA,” the date “2013” and the face value of “25 CENTS.”
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed their first born on July 22, 2013. Their days will be filled with all the moments only a newborn can bring.
