The reverse of the coin features Britannia, wearing a Corinthian helmet, standing resolutely in a fierce wind, with a wave pattern painted in fine pointillism against her back, holding a trident in her right hand and a Union Jack shield and olive branch in her left.
The small circular area on the lower left features a trident that appears when viewed from a different angle, further enhancing the deterrent features.
