Introducing the next offering in the Big 5 Series lll coin range featuring the mighty lion. The lion is a universal symbol of strength and courage, which roams the African plains with an untamed spirit.

The coins in this collection bare a new obverse design, showing the lion in an entirely different light from series l and ll, which both featured a close up profile from various angles. These coins feature a full-figure portrayal of the mighty animal, captured in lifelike motion on the obverse.

The reverse remains the same as the previous series’ which depict two halves of the lion’s face. The full face of a lion can be seen when two coins are placed next to one another. The unique blister pack which houses this coin, highlights the exceptional split portrait design found on the reverse of the Big 5 coins.
