Widespread publicity was generated by the Betty and Barney Hill abduction case of 1961, culminating in a made-for-television film broadcast in 1975 (starring James Earl Jones and Estelle Parsons) dramatizing the events. The Hill Incident is the prototypical abduction case and was most likely the first in which the claimant described beings that later became widely known as the Grays and in which the beings were said to explicitly specify an extraterrestrial origin.
Obverse
In the high desert of the American Southwest, an unlucky human rides up the tractor beam and into the awaiting flying saucer. Another UFO hovers nearby while a menacing looking alien supervises the proceedings. The legend ALIEN ABDUCTION leaves no doubt as to what is happening—as if we had any. The black proof finish makes this nighttime scene even more frightening.
Reverse
The public seal (coat of arms) of the island nation of Niue. The slogan ATUA NIUE TUKULAGI translates as "God, Niue Forever". The date of issue and denomination also appear, while the legend 1 OZ 9999 GOLD guarantees the weight and purity. No way King Charles II and Buckingham Palace were giving their approval for the use of his effigy on this bad boy.

The coin is encapsulated inside a luxurious clamshell-style presentation case, lined with black velvet and satin, and protected by a gold and black outer cardboard box. An individually-numbered certificate of authenticity is included.
